The Sony Hack: A False Flag -- Pinning it on North Korea?

(CNN) -- Sure, North Korea's government despises the movie "The Interview."

But when its propagandists say it did not hack Sony Pictures before the original release date of the flick that satirizes dictator Kim Jong-un, they might just be telling the truth.

Some U.S. cyber experts say the evidence the FBI has presented to attempt to incriminate hackers working for the communist regime is not enough to pin the blame on Pyongyang.

"It's clear to us, based on both forensic and other evidence we've collected, that unequivocally they are not responsible for orchestrating or initiating the attack on Sony," said Sam Glines, who runs the cybersecurity company Norse.

The FBI has said that code in the malware used by a group called "Guardians of Peace" (GoP) in the attack on Sony is similar to code used by North Korea in other attacks.

But that code was leaked a long time ago, experts say. Any hacker anywhere in the world could have used it.

There is a group in the Kim regime that is responsible for cyber warfare, but independent IT security researcher Scott Borg doesn't believe North Korea was capable of the Sony hack.

"It's beyond the skill level that we have been able to observe," he said.

The FBI was sure quick to pin the blame on the "obvious" target.

Perhaps too obvious... wonder if the CIA is up to its warmongering/interventionalist bullshit again?

    The plot thickens...

When the plot thickens to the density of your brain, it will be like a dumb rock. Your political explanations are all over the map, no coherency, no logical grouping to your thoughts,...nothing. Like a good commie, whatever someone else says that you can latch on to at the moment so you can look "enlightened".
No enemy of America would have ever been killed if they didn't show up to be killed. HDR

I dunno, if 0bama could goad the norks into emping us, especially with the worst of winter setting in, we could lose millions to the cold alone, on top of the starvation and chaos of society collapsing. And yes I believe 0bama is perfectly capable of such, or even doing it himself and blaming someone else for the "attack". Hell, they don't even need an emp, just hack into all the power stations and water treatment plants and banks and then blame someone else when society collapses at your press of a button.
"And how we burned in the camps later thinking, what would things have been like, if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain, whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?"

Well, they're certainly pissed that their Internet is all jammed up right now. King Jong Un must not be able to access his huge online cache of porn on his SkyDrive. That'd be enough to piss off any respectable tyrant these days.

Calling the president a "monkey" and other racist shit, yeah... an EMP wouldn't be out of the question, methinks.

This whole exchange though reminds me of that newer James Bond episode, with the British media mogul who tries to instigate conflict between the U.S. and China.

It really begs the question: cui bono? For whom does it benefit?

Cui bono? If you read the article you linked critically the 'expert' is tossing out possibilities. He doesn't base his skepticism about the NKs connection to this on anything concrete. They could quite easily be the culprit. Just saying.
