Been carrying this same set-up for a few years (year-round), except I used to carry a Streamlight Polytac instead of the Maglite.

I carry a truck gun mostly,
as where I live up here in the middle of nowhere I don't use my CCW that much.

When I do carry (which is when I am not in uniform) I have:

STI Spartan V with Remington Hollow points in a 8 round mag in a Kydex (sp?) IWB holster, or in a coyote tan fabric shoulder holster when I am on my motorcycle
1 extra 8 round mag with the same ammo in a Kydex IWB mag holder
1 Benchmade auto opener
Aluminum kubaton keyring
I try to keep about 8-10 feet of 550 cord on me at all times
then my wallet, smartphone, keys and such

I carry a S&W 340 PD in a Mika pocket holster in my front coat packet (winter mode) & Glock 26 in a Blackhawk Serpa OWB holster. I like coat pocket carry since you can have the gun in your hand if a threat is perceived.

I have .38 RBCD ammo in the 340 PD and HST 9mm hollow points in the Glock. The 9 mm HST ammo is explosive on a large ground hog if that means anything.

I also carry either Fox pepper spray or Cold Steel Inferno pepper foam. I tested the Fox spray once on a dog that attacked me and it worked, i.e., stopped the dog in mid charge.

Same gun i've carried for the last 4 years; Glock 29 in a blackhawk serpa holster on my right side under a loose fitting Hawaiian print shirt. It's got a couple hundred more rounds through it in the last year and i cleaned it once.
I carry one of those folding knives that uses replaceable razor blades cause i hate to sharpen knives, and i always have my Leatherman multi-tool

Usually my S&W38 bodyguard with my KISS folder.
OR the 13-4 with extra ammo on those bianchi strips + the same folder.

at the minimum an extra 12 rounds for each + an additional 50-100 in the truck.

Lower end of Sig $$$$$$ range. P250sc 9mm. IWB..shoots and fits well. If lucky, it will only be used on paper. Been carrying it for several years.

other option is my Kahr cw40. so slim i can wear it with anything.



I wore my 13-4 all day today under my coat in it's holster. only noticed it was there when i was driving.
I'm pretty confident in 357mag critical defense.
