    I am sick.

Overnight I have magically been transformed from a tough construction/contractor type guy to a 44yr old little girl. I am cold, achy and whiney, with a burning cough.
Skipped work today and will also tomorrow.

If I knew how to spell whiney sounds this is where they would be.

Sux to be you... Hope you get better...
We found out what "dealing" with progressive lefties is all about. Our side gives up something, they give up nothing and the progressives come back in a month or a year and want us to give up more... rinse and repeat...

You got the flu. I got it 2 days after Christmas. Didn't go to the doctor, still to this day I feel off. Had the full span of symptoms; sinus headache, runny nose, runny eyes, headache, joint / body aches, 101 fever, cold chills, fatigue, cough.

sorry to hear that bishop. I get a few nasty colds each year, never a lot of fun. Only thing that helps is rest. Don't push yourself. I have made that mistake before. You can get your adrenaline going and start feeling better and fool yourself that you are "burning off the cold" yea right. You'll be way worse off the next day.

Kick up your feet, get plenty of rest and feel free to whine, it's ok. BTW whiskey makes a good cough medicine, just don't get too carried away.

That stinks. Good sleep and plenty of fluids always help me recover faster along with eating healthy, no sugar and heavy fatty foods while sick and take vitamins. Have to just let it run its course but the sleep and fluids especially help your immune system.

I'm not the type to go to the Dr. just because I'm a little sick.

I had something last year that lasted over a week. I went to the VA for that. They gave me a Z-Pack and it started to clear up that day and was even better 2 days later.

I am usually sick for 2-3 days then I can go to work again. With my job if I have something that will slow me down at all I just can't go to work. The job will never get finished until 11pm. instead of a 6:30 -7pm.

Lots of sleep, liquids, massive doses of vitamin C. I got sick the day after Christmas. It lasted 48 hours and I began to feel better on the third day.

It sucks for two days then clears up pretty quickly. Hope this is what got you and you get over it fast. Luck!

I like Korbel XS, which is their spiced brandy. If'n I'm sick and not pukin', that tonic either picks me right up, or with the right quantity, make ya forget you were ever sick.

Hope you feel better soon Bishop!

It took me almost 3 weeks to get over it. Hope you get well quicker than that!

Get well soon. I came down with an attack of gout last night. Slept a couple hours at the most. Rest of the time I was just trying not to scream. Got an appointment this afternoon for a cortisone shot. Can't wait!
