    Rip Audio from Video files?

I'm wanting to rip some audio from some of my video files. Does anyone have a suggestion for programs to use?

    Thanks.

A product called "Any Video Converter". Set the output to audio only and set the audio settings to match the source settings, then it will extract without converting. Or you can just as easily select a new file type and convert. Don't convert more than once or you'll lose quality.

What format are the video files?

Windows Media Encoder should let you export audio only from .wmv.

I think this is what I used in the past... http://sourceforge.net/projects/avidemux/ It allows you to split out the video and audio, and re-encode it. After its split, Audacity can be used for basic editing.
