    Zastava CZ-999

Just bought one off Gun Broker, price was right and I'm a fan of the Zastava lineup. Anybody ever owned one? If so any recommended holsters for these things? Thanks.

Nope, never owned one. On holsters what kind of carry you planning on doing with it dictates what to look at.

That is a nice looking pistol. No idea what kind of holster for it. Have you shot it yet?

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

I'm picking it up from FFL tomorrow and hitting the range on Saturday, I'll post a few pics and accuracy results. Probably just going with a cheap bulldog holster from buds. I don't plan on this as my EDC.

a opinion on the pistol. http://tacticalgunreview.com/staff-r...ct-9mm-pistol/

when you go to the range see if someone has something
that kinda matches the size and if you do this will be a place
    to start. good luck.

They're basically a Sig P226 clone so I would try some Sig holsters.
Where are we going and why are we in this handbasket???

It's pretty close to a SIG 226, I had a SIG 226 MK25 (still haunts me that I sold it), but it lacks the fine edges and overall finish. But for less than $350 out the door I won't complain. I got some custom grips on the way so I'll post a new pic with a range report hopefully next weekend!

This would good for my collection to. It illustrates the growing separation between Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union, as the Yugos came to use 9mm NATO in the 60's and 70's.

I'm no history buff on the yugo stuff, but I'm becoming a fan of Zastava products. Thinking about starting a Zastava collection, have a PAP and this 999 so far and the M70A is my next purchase (hopefully in the next month or so).

Nice. I'd like the M-70a as well, bit I think I need to get a surplus Tok or two first.

l921428x, M70a is a 9mm Tokerev copy, made brand new in Serbia by Zastava.

    I like it!

It would go great with a collection of Serbian weapons.

    I'm jealous!

I've been jonesing for a Tok.

You have me thinking about the CZ-999 as well. Although there are a lot of other things I could use at the moment.

Range Update: Gun functioned flawlessly, 200 rnds mixed brass and steel cased. Consistent groups at point of aim at about 12-13 yards. Well worth the $ great gun. Only issue I have is the red grips I bought look neon pink in the sunlight...yeah pretty popular at the range, black ones are going back on haha.
