Need Free Anti-Virus For Old XP Laptop

Had Norton, it expired, not going to pay for more. Looking for something new. I would like it to be free, not spy on me, not eat up a lot of resources, and work on Windows XP.

    Try Avast antivirus.

Now that I look, they seem to be adding 'utilities' that I don't want... There's also Avg.

I have the Advanced (Paid for) AVG on my Window's 7 Pro. With Browser 11, It does very well. I only had one Virus Problem in the last 4 Year's. That Fake FBI Scam! I had the View Paine on the Inbox of my Mozilla Thunderbird Email Message System, and according to the Guy who built my Computer that is how it got in to the Computer, and locked me out. Now I keep it closed at all time's. For anyone who does not know what I mean when you have a lot of Messages in your Inbox, you can read the first one in line. without clicking on it. Never again. Avast with superantispyware as a helper. Both free. AVG is okay too.

Thanks everyone, I ended up with AVG 2015 Free and Malware Bytes. Both found things to get rid of, and the old laptop seems to be running a little better now.
