    Price chek on NHM91

A family member has a NHM91. It is in the cardboard box with all the accessories/items. It is LNIB, possibly unfired. It looks just like this one with all the same stuff except I only saw one 30 round mag. Is his price ballpark or is he crazy? I'm just trying to help establish a fair price for the family member if they decide to sell. TIA.

    IMHO $900.

I'd advertise at $1000 and barter down to 900.

Thank you sir. One other small thing I noticed. The mags were loaded with ammo that was the color of a new penny. Both the case and the bullet had that copper color. I'm inexperienced with AK's. The only 7.62 ammo I have seen is steel cased. Is that copper colored ammo anything unusual?

would need a headstamp... if it's not steel core norinco.. it's basically worth standard market.

steel core would command at least $1 each.

Agree that new in box NHM91 should sell for around $900 in today's market. Does it have the bipod as it appears the one in the auction is missing it?

The bipod is there and is attached to the barrel.

Yeah, sorry. I didn't even notice the bipod was missing in that listing.

The copper color is fine to shoot. I believe they're called, "copper washed." They would, probably, be Chinese ammo as they loved to copper wash theirs.

For $900, I'd jump all over that one.

If the headstamp is earlier than 1980 and copper colored it is the Chinese steel core bullet and it is corrosive primed. I don't know about a buck a round but it should get up to 75 cents a round easy.
