    Republicans Concede Internet to Obama

I don’t know about this, it looks to have unintended consequences written all over it.

Anyone want to give me some hope, or are we living in the last great days of the world wide web?

    This.

If left unchallenged the Gunsnet will have to be licensed & pay a fee. If the Grand Poobahs don't like what we post here then it will be lights out. The only hope will possibly be hosting offshore.

I don't know about hope but I have written to the FCC and my representatives telling them that the vote on the new rules should be postponed until the rules are published so that there can be a useful comment period. Not sure if that will work but from what I read there is a lot of pressure building to release the rules so they can be read and reviewed to allow for proper comment.

Won't work. They will simply block those IP addresses (hate speech) and no one within Amerika will be able to connect.

Once 2nd Amendment sites are shut down expect a Federal gun ban within a few month followed by deadly force used against those who don't turn in their guns.

I think we might be seeing the end of this:

For we are no longer a nation of the people, by the people or for the people.

I really don't know why We, the People sit back and "hope" the government won't screw us again and why we waste time writing them letters "asking" them to stop screwing us?

300 million people in the US, about 1/3 of them heavily armed and all we can do is beg and hope?

    Seriously?

Bwahahahaa!!!! There's also a link on that page to the Reichstag fire incident (a false flag staged attack against the German government).

I thought "false flags" were loon material... conspiracy theorist stuff? Never happens? Right?

Guys, the FCC sided with net neutrality. This is a very good thing.

Republicans were trying to make it so that cable companies and ISPs could charge extra for fast lanes, relegating everyone else to slow lanes, meaning sites like Netflix and Hulu would be able to stream without hiccups, but non-commercial, independent sites like GunsNet would load as slowly as if over dial-up.

That's not a good thing. The Democrats were on the right side of this, and its a damn good thing they won... for now.

Why am I not surprised you are for this. It is, after all, the next step in negating free speech, bringing us into line with Chinese interwebz control.

And the communist juggernaut rolls on...

But be of good cheer lafty...as a useful idiot, know that one day they will come for you.

Are you opposed to net neutrality? Treating all Internet traffic the same, regardless of where it comes from?

If that was all this move to regulate the internet like another utility was, then no...but that is not what this is about, though you're either foolish enough to believe it is, or disingenuous enough to try to pass it off as such...psst...I suspect the latter...strongly.

Yeah lagsocialist shit, like the irs fascists did during the last elections? Its really an ironic tragedy to you isn't it that all the people congress asked for info for had those terrible and totally accidental computer crashes.....right? Yup, our bastard in office has a media enemies list, has punished reporters, FUCKING murdered innocent people over the 2nd, so surely we can trust them to know what's good for us and protect us by removing bad amendments and GOD given rights. Right?
    "What sick, barbaric bastards.

It's one thing to use terrorism to make a political statement, but the wanton mutilation and suffering of innocents? How does that forward your political goals? When done in the name of religion, how does that earn you brownie points with God?

Fuck religious extremism. And especially fuck the "religion of peace." "

So, lagcsocialist supports terrorism AS LONG AS ITS FOR POLITICAL ENDS....

Remember when he was so happy about 0bamacare, and his nearly free healthcare? Then remember when they screwed up and it looked like he'd have to pay for his checkup and tests, how pissed he was about that? (By the way lafty...you ever pay that bill?)

And recall how upset he was recently about how he'd been lied to about 0bamacare and his downgrade of care, increase of out of pocket costs?

And yet here he is, attempting to sell us on 0bamanet and how great it will be, which has to be passed to find out what's in it...

He's either A) A paid troll, B) Really, really stupid, or C) So gullible as to require a significant reference to B.

Follow the money. The major financial push for this is coming from the great conservative and capitalist, George Soros. Nothing to be concerned about here.
