Anyone noticed the prices of M1s lately?

I went to Cabela's to pick up a Savage 350 shotgun they had on sale. I always go through their gun library to check out the nice stuff. Today they had about a dozen M1 Garands on the rack. The lowest price I saw was one at 2499.00. The rest were 2999.00. None of them were close to the condition of mine. Last Dec I was there and they were running 1500 - 2000 each. I can't imagine what the like new M1D I have would go for there. Market Hall is this weekend. I will see what the price on the street is lately....chris

With thousands of varying condition setting over in Korea.
    "What sick, barbaric bastards.

It's one thing to use terrorism to make a political statement, but the wanton mutilation and suffering of innocents? How does that forward your political goals? When done in the name of religion, how does that earn you brownie points with God?

Fuck religious extremism. And especially fuck the "religion of peace." "

So, lagcsocialist supports terrorism AS LONG AS ITS FOR POLITICAL ENDS....

I stop into the gun library every time i go to Cabelas, some of the prices I've seen for used guns are pretty ridiculous, most of the time they're only about 5% less than a new gun. Maybe the Garands you saw had all matching original parts

I bought mine at the CMP western games a few years ago, it was a completely refurbished CMP special, new criterion barrel, new stock, built on a 1954 Springfield receiver, paid $998.00
