The bayo and all was still in the box. Never put on. I asked a bunch of questions. Don't know if he was lying and I don't know because I've never seen one new in box. But he said it was not put on the gun and shipped on the same box.

Yes the bayo was not installed as delivered from the factory. While I understand that supply and demand equals price, it still blows my mind to see what people are asking for their Chinese AK variants, but finding one like that in new condition is getting rarer and rarer. There are still some people who don't understand collectors and can't wait to take that rifle out of the bag and to the range for a day of fun and making my new in box even more rare and therefore more valuable.

Is that a good price? When I bought my first I would have died laughing, but knowing what I do now and seeing what the prices have done in just the past few years, that might be a bargain in another ten years hoping that we still have a country left.

Shoot. I wish I could have gotten it. I just took a picture and eased on so I wouldn't get into a knock down drag out with the wife. Lol. I did pick up a new Daniel defense M4 today though.
