    Dogies Got Em a Bugger

About noon today, PD lost 2 dudes in a stolen car chase in a shopping center a few blocks from me.........at 807 this evening, my dogs went bananas at front door......turned on light and no one there......checked both cars and no one there.
On a gut feeling, I called 911. Lakewood PD...4 minutes response. These 2 were hiding under neighbors car....armed. About 12 PD and a couple of K9 drug them out.....you got it, the missing 2. While on cell to PD, these 2 were 20 feet from me. My thanks to Lakewood for the response. I CC but wouldn't have had time to switch hands or use it!

Glad to hear everything turned out well for you.

What type of dogs do you have?

Would they have gone to the perps, under the car, if you had let them?

    Just curious...

    Damn, close call...
We found out what "dealing" with progressive lefties is all about. Our side gives up something, they give up nothing and the progressives come back in a month or a year and want us to give up more... rinse and repeat...

That's the reason i've always had a dog, with their hearing and sense of smell they will warn you of things you wouldn't even notice.

Dogs are an important part of the security equation. Two people I know were asleep a few years ago when a home invasion occurred. One of their dogs woke them up by barking. The other dog (described by my wife as the most vicious lab she has ever seen) bit one of the 3 intruders. Due to the action of these two dogs my friends were able to defend themselves with a handgun.

My dog used to alert me when anyone came within 200 yards of the house. Now she is so old she just sleeps most of the time and doesn't even bark at the UPS truck.

IMHO it is generally entertaining to see a police K9 in action.
