Quite the stunning turn around for the Likud Party, for sure, if exit polls are any indication.
Still, the way Netanyahu went about cannibalizing the right-wing vote in these final days by ruling out Palestinian statehood and attacking Israeli Arabs for daring to turn out to vote could very well come back to bite him in the end.
Remember: it takes 60 seats in the Knesset to form a government under Israel's parliamentary system. Likud only has 30 seats at best count so far.
The way Netanyahu embraced the far-right groups the past few days and snubbed the center could cause some of those centrist parties to reject Likud and coalition-form with Zionist Union still yet. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out...
