What a sanctimonious prick. Thought he could rally Israelis behind him by alienating their strongest ally by snubbing the President of the United States and his entire political party like that with his little stunt before Congress.

See ya Bibi! Time for some real reformers to take over, maybe give peace and reconciliation with the Palestinians a chance for a change, instead of constant encroachment with new settlements and needlessly raising tensions with their neighbors like Iran.

Are you deluded? There will never be Middle East peace.

Imagine that in 1948 Britain decided to let your neighbor reside in your living room. You didn't like it one bit, but your neighbor moved in anyway, then setup checkpoints and decided whether or not YOU could travel through YOUR living room.

Naturally, you are not happy about this and try to oust the neighbor. But, since your neighbor has big guns given to him by another country, no way is he leaving. You try more violent means to get your neighbor to leave. All they do is kill members of your family and call you a "terrorist". On top of that, your neighbor expanded his domain and took over your dining room too. You're more pissed off than ever.

Then some yahoo comes over to your house and wants to sit down with you and your neighbor and have "peace talks". You wanted nothing to do with peace talks 50 years ago, 20 years ago, 5 years ago or today. You just want the intruder OUT and GONE for good.

There is only one way to have "middle east peace"... give YOUR home back to YOU... ALL OF IT.

(now watch the jackasses come out and call me a "nazi" and a "terrorist supporter" or try to tell me that "Israel" was a Jewish country for 2000 years or some other delusional BS.. totally ignoring the events that occurred in 1948).

(edit to add): Or some other jackass will show me a map depicting "how small" Israel is compared to the area... as if stealing only a LITTLE BIT is OK...

I don't know, Krup. I agree that the Palestinians got the raw end of the deal when the U.N. partitioned their land in 1948 and gave much of it to the foreign settlers. I know there was early talk about establishing a Jewish State down out of a swath of South America that no one contested instead of the Middle East, and perhaps that would have been better in hindsight.

But I honestly think the vast majority of Palestinians are sick and tired of all the fighting, tired of all the bloodshed. Tired of all the corruption and economic stagnation and yes, even religious fundamentalism, that Hamas stands for.

I think people are ready for a change. If there were a real concerted effort on the part of Israel (who still holds all the cards over there), not just more token gestures -- a full stop to the encroaching settlements, full troop pull-outs from the occupied territories, fair and open elections in Palestine where the people could really have a say in electing their own leaders with their own state, where they would truly be able to keep the extremist elements in check and not allow them to launch more attacks against Israel while hiding amongst the people.

No one really wants the status quo to continue on. Not most Israelis, definitely not the Palestinians. The vast majority just want peace and security in the region, utilities that work, a functioning government. That is all.

So you've been to Israel and also into the occupied areas, spoken with the people there and that is how you KNOW what they think and believe?

Or do you just read the google and come up with this stuff on your own...

Maybe the Israelis should give back the Golan Heights just to be nice. Have you been there...seen those Israeli tanks, looked to the right towards Syria and the left towards Lebanon? Have you been into Bethlehem? Or maybe Herodian and seen the big red signs warning Israelis that their lives will be in danger if they pass this point. Oddly enough, the back side of those signs do not warn those beyond that their lives are in danger if they come in towards Jerusalem....I wonder why?

The problem with your perspective is that it is one based upon a word view that keeps you from understanding that Israel is not an "occupied area" "stolen from the Palys"...Israel is the ancient home of the Israelis and there is plenty of evidence proving that fact. Not going to argue or debate with you on those facts because it is fruitless.

    (1) "Occupied area". Need I say any more?

    (2) I didn't know 1948 was considered "ancient".

According to the Bible, an area called "Israel" was the ancient home of the Jews, but that has NOTHING to do with the 1948 piece of land that happens to have the same name.

So, the ancient walls of Jerusalem and the Temple mount were laid in 1948-ish?

So 2000 years or so after the Romans kick the Jews out of what was their country it was still their country according to the UN? I sure hope the UN doesn't make a declaration to return the land taken from the American Indians.

The UN has nothing to do with it. I believe you may be coming at this from a whole different perspective than I.

Sorry. You are correct. I was thinking that the UN partition plan of 1947 was implemented and after just checking I see it was not.

Rather, it was the League of Nations that established Zionist claims after the fall of the Ottoman empire somehow ignoring 2000 years of dispossession.

Why do we bother with LAGC? He doesn't know Israel's history, he doesn't know that when you're attacked and you take land like the Golan heights from which attacks were undertaken you tend to keep that land. They traded some land for peace already and what did that get them? He's what's called a provocateur, a stooge, a useful fool. No wonder this forum is a ghost town.

I come back, see his bullshit is still all over what used to be a great forum and then remember how fucking boring it is reading the same shit every post here. Between him and Kad, all this is is the troll show anymore. It's no wonder most of us don't waste time here anymore.

Clean your house up already. If you were a Jew in Israel, would you let a filthy Palestinian into your living room to finger your sons butt every day while his traitor friend looks on and gives multiple warped reasons why it's ok??? Didn't think so.
Ditch the poison and watch things prosper. Gunsnet doesn't need a 2 troll gimmick to keep its content rolling, it needs a return to being the most informative ak and gun related forum on the web. As long as it's only the same argument threads repeated over and over with different title this forum will remain mired in the suck. Allowing them to stay is dumber than when ferd was allowed back to generate traffic. Instead of quality it was "ouch my balls". This is no different.

That is all. I won't let the door hit me on the way out. Again.

So I am not the only one who thinks they are destroying gunsnet, like they are destroying the country. Same playbook as the national socialists. Ban them. Before they are the only ones left.
