Good to hear you pulled through Mark. I'd thought of calling you a couple of times over the last few years to see if you wanted to talk, wish I had now. On selling your FS2000, I say save up and keep the rifle.

    Congratulations on the new vows...!!!

On a darker note, were there signs of dirty deeds that you missed but now realize what was up?

I would never suspect my wife of cheating, I would be clueless if it were happening and frankly it would be my worst nightmare now that I think about it. Your strong man, stronger than I, cause I would lose it.

Thank you for the well wishes fellas... it was quite a ride to say the least.

You know what I've learned? Life is temporary, living life on life's terms is hard sometimes, but manageable. I've learned its okay to ask for help, I don't have to do it all, its okay to be human, and that if you just keep doing the right thing, eventually it comes back to you.

Never thought I'd be in this position of having a wife that would run around on me, getting a divorce, having her claws come out... she told everyone I was abusive to her and the kids, she's called DFCS on me a few times, etc...

So here I am just trying to do the right thing... guess what? It all got flipped on her. We actually reconciled once for about 2 weeks, we even dismissed the divorce proceeding and made it go away. My mother and hers asked her if I was so bad, why was she so anxious to get back with me... she told them that she lied, the BF told her to say all those things as it would help her get full custody of the kids and more money. Well, I caught her cheating with the boyfriend 2 weeks later and it was divorce game on again. DFCS dismissed every allegation she made against me.

I got everything, the only thing that's hurting me now is that I'm in debt up to my ears and IRS trouble... that's okay, life's temporary, right? Oh, and to this day I sit with her family in church with my new wife and step daughter, they all love my wife. My ex sits on the other side of church with his mom. They have literally disowned their own daughter because of this. Small part for lying about me, but mainly because they disapprove of her boyfriend whom she married last July. The dude has an alternative life style, he's bisexual, no joke! This has been like Jerry Springer stuff.

I was going through a time of buying guns, corvettes, a lot of materialistic things I've learned that I was trying to fill a void in my heart with things because of the lack of love and affection I was getting from my ex...

Funny, I met my wife on e-harmony. Haha, I was on for a few weeks, no luck and gave up. At the end of my 3 months on there, I get an email saying my subscription runs out the next day and asked if I want to renew my membership. No! So, I'm laying in bed at night and my prayer was that God bring me a good Christian woman of His choosing in His time, I was tired of trying to do it on my own. So, I get on eH the next day for one last look, and there she was. Turns out it was her last day, she went through the same thing too, she prayed for God to bring her the right man as well. So, I give God the credit for this marriage. I told Beth that I was looking for a woman who would go to church with me Sunday mornings/nights, wednesday nights, I say a blessing at breakfast, lunch and dinner, I believe a husband and wife should be in the word together and pray together... all the things I never had, a Christ centered marriage. She started crying and said that she has always wanted that too.

So after all this, no matter what happens in life, even if I don't have a dime to retire on, I have the love of a good woman and Christ in my heart... it'll be okay.

I really do appreciate all the well wishes, it really means a lot to me.

Great testimony indeed. I had a friend go through a similar situation and like you he's ended up with a much better woman although it cost him dearly for her stupidity.
I guess the old joke still applies, "Q. Why do divorces cost so much A. Because they are WORTH it."

Mark, that sounds awesome, the part about your new wife that is. Congrats, would of like to attended your wedding if I'd know of it. Sounds like a polar opposite of your ex. You still have your Dental practice, you'll eventually work out of the hole. I have faith in your abilities.
