My DD has a 5 liter V8 with 420hp and exhaust loud enough to set off car alarms.

    Chick car?

LITER? Don't you mean 305 (or 318 or whatever it is) CUBIC INCHES?

    I get it, you don't like metric. Fine it's a TiVCT 5.0 (302 in^2) V8.

Ford 302 is a different motor entirely.

Around 357hp to the ground if you take drivetrain loss at average of 15%.

    Can't cheat thermodynamics. Damn entropy.

But believe me, that's still plenty. Putting it to the ground is the hard part. Even on soft 275's.

Hey beleive me, I know. My chick car with balls 05 GTO has a dynoed 400hp/400ftlbs with a tune, cam, and exhaust. It is a rocket with traction. My work truck 2014 5.0 F150 gets up and goes compared the the old 5.4L.

My oldest son told me he had gotten tired of his full size pick-up and was going to buy something fast. I was thinking yeah, Mustang 5.0, woo hoo, i can finally ask him to borrow the car

He calls last week and tells me he bought a gently used infinity G35 coupe , i'm thinking, shit he really has become a yuppie. He brings it over last weekend and pops the hood, 3.5 liter V6 DOHC twin turbo, the turbo work was done by a company called FAT ( forced air technologies) in phoenix, dynos at 585 HP. Hell i didn't know infinity made cars you could do that too....still wish he would have went for the mustang, the turbo V6 has a nice sound, but nothing like real American V8 muscle

ANY vehicle with a Ma Deuce mounted on it is manly. Are you gonna laugh at a guy driving a pink VW with eyelashes... with a .50 cal barrel pointed at you? I know I wouldn't.

    Thumbs up

I miss my old 1985 Firebird.(my first new Car) Not a T.A. but had a nice Chevy Made 305 C.I.D. with 4 Barrel, Carb. the Borg Warner(Corvette) 5 Speed Trans. Engine H.P. was between 150 to 175. 15 Inch Goodyears, and the T-Top removable Roof Pannels. The only thing I could not order, was the Limited SLip Disk Rear Axle. Only went to the T.A. Made in March, 1985. Miss that Car.
