I have read it, assuming you are talking about the book writen by McBride. If that is the one you are talking about it isn't bad. Worth a read if you have an interest in WW1 or have read a rifleman went to war. A Rifleman Went to War was also writen by him. It is an excelent book that I highly recomend. the Emma Gees isn't as good in my opnion. It seems like the book isn't as polished and seems to end not quite finished. Which if I recall is probably right, I think he died before finishing it and his son had the book published. Both are good though if you want to try one I would start with A Rifleman Went to War even though he served as a machinegunner first.
