Price check on Universal Arms Vulcan 440 .44 Magnum

I have run across one of these and really know nothing about them. Can anyone help me with an estimate of value? The seller wants $600. The link below is just for explanation of what it is.

It would be worth having just because of its oddity. I've never seen one before.

    For $600, I'd be tempted...

I wonder if extra mags are available?

I tried to find them. Apparently they are scarcer than hen's teeth.

It mentions how they modified G.I. and commercial mags to work so you might be able to modify your own.

Triple K shows the mags but they have pretty crappy stuff from what I've read.

Thanks Richard! He said it has 3 mags. I negotiated a price of $540. They guy says the gun is 95%. I'll post pictures after my buy.

Its different that's for sure. You'll be the only one on any gun range when you take it out to shoot. I'm hoping you put it on paper and give us a report.

I will Schuetz. It may be a while before I can make it out to the range, but I will once I have. My son has been wanting to get a 44 mag lever action for a while. Since he and I share my guns, when I saw this I was intrigued. It's obviously not a lever action, but it is a 44. One thing I liked about the gun is it is very light.

My son took the carbine to the range. This was his target at 25 yards.

Love reading about, and seeing photos of oddball firearms. Pump action .44 carbine! WOW!

Yeah. I wasn't with him. He said the center shots were slow fire for accuracy. The head shots were rapid fire. He also said the plastic mags misfed while the metal mag performed flawlessly. I'm going to take Richard's advice and mod some carbine mags.
