Is it me or in one of the pictures it looks like the hoop around the front sight has been cut? I wonder if that is the new "top vent".

I'll give the guy leeway for not knowing that the "end tip" is called a slant break because it was worth a good laugh, but the price he is asking is also laughable as the rust on that poor old thing is really bad in some spots, especially where all the important stampings are.

Agree with Schuetzenman, about $500 max for that poor thing.

I was quite surprised at the price. I can get a good Garand for a couple hundred less than that, without all the rust pits.

It is a rare Chinese pre-Bush1-ban rifle. Unfortunately it is a rusty pre-Bush1-ban rifle.

In this case one mans treasure is most others trash. Well almost trash as it still is a nice Norinco underfolder even if it is a nice rusty Norinco underfolder.

it looks to me the gas tube is new, the finish doesn't match.

I cannot see how the inside of the rifle is not damaged.
