But the GPS said turn right!

How can people be so stupid, but guessing not being able to read a sign that said "ROAD CLOSED" and "numerous barricades, including orange barrels and cones, large wood signs stating ROAD CLOSED with orange striped markings and concrete barricades across the road" didn't give the driver a hint that something was wrong?

A shame that he had to watch his wife die an agonizing death.

Interesting how this site has issues with copy and paste type fonts, then changes the local text to match the copied font, but does not allow you to easily match the original font and size! GRRRRRRRRRR

Notice how the whole end of the story tries to blame the bridge not the idiot that drive through all of the warnings and barriers.

This. Or maybe he did it on purpose. Burning a wife up is right up Sharia Law's alley.

exactly what i was thinking when i read the story. You hear stuff about them throwing Kerosene or acid on them when they get sick of their wives.

I'm glad I'm not dumb enough to listen to my GPS. One time it kept telling me to turn right while I was driving along the Ohio River - which was to my right...

anytime I use map quest it for the most part can be wrong. I live e of Atlanta and if I was to ask for a address
there the damn thing is liable to send me through Alabama. I just update my maps and gazetteer every couple of years and
    I am good to go.
While no one ever listens to me,
I am constantly being told to be quiet.
