So this is pretty random, but my fiancee and I have always kidded with each other about who's "normal" when it comes to the use of bath towels. I'm curious to see where you all fall on this topic. I've always used bath towels on a weekly basis before tossing them into the dirty laundry under normal use. She grabs a fresh towel every shower - she uses a towel once and throws it into the dirty laundry. She thinks I'm crazy. I think she's crazy.

We found out what "dealing" with progressive lefties is all about. Our side gives up something, they give up nothing and the progressives come back in a month or a year and want us to give up more... rinse and repeat...

My opinion, If the person taking a bath is doing it right, a new towel every time is just wasting water and laundry detergent...
If you hang them, as my wife and I do, they dry between use.
Also, she has her's and I have mine. And I don't mean the one's that say "His or Hers". (Not that there's anything wrong with that)
Now I'm talking just drying off with a towel. The thread is about "bath towels". I don't use my bath towel to dry the tub or floor...
Sooo boys and girls, wash your privates well and hang towels so they dry between uses and you should be fine weekly... Humid environment maybe twice weekly...

You wash yourself in the shower/bath, so when you get out all that is on your body is water. When you dry yourself, all that is touching the towel is water. Weekly.

Weekly though in the summer when the house is warmer inside I find that if I don't make sure my towel is hung up nicely, (not bunched up on the towel rod) it can start to get a mildew smell and then it hits the hamper early.
