He!! no I am not prone to anger outbursts. I am not angry that the government has ignored the supreme law of the land. I am not angry that the federals have ignored constitutional law. I am not angry that we are severely overtaxed at all levels.

But thankfully I can control myself and am not prone to angry outbursts.

I call bullshit on this one. If almost TEN PERCENT of 90-100 Million gun owners were powderkegs with a lit fuse, we'd have a lot more rampages and random shootings (not gang or street crime related like a robbery gone wrong), than we do. TEN MILLION guys with anger management issues and lack of impulse control? The fact that so many Millions of law abiding gun owners in this country and the vast majority of shootings done by people who are not LEGALLY able to own or carry firearms, makes this so called 'study' a crock of shit.

I would bet the 10% are liberals!

Actually, the article doesn't make much sense. It makes claims but does not quote the referenced work to know how the numbers are used. For example, 1.5% of people with anger issues carry firearms outside the home. Does this include criminals who are not allowed to have firearms? Gang bangers? What qualifies the 9% of the population that is angry as an angry person, what definition are they using. Do these people believe all angry people must undergo some sort of psychiatric counseling. Do they believe all anger is wrong and has no place in modern society? This article is definitely slanted to make it seem that people who own firearms are dangerous.

Now that I have read the article I appear to be part of the 9%

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

Seeing guns makes me feel much better, far from aggressive or angry.

If there weren't stupid people in the world, the rest of us would have no reason to get angry.
