Didn't see a price in the article or the video. Do they have an MSRP yet?

I was just about to point out the 5.56 caliber, but you beat me to it.

On desireability, sure I'd love to have one. But I think we are going to be talking $2500 to $3,000 for one of these. If that turns out to be the case, I can't justify it. Then again probably nobody else will either. Then if a person did get one it may turn out to be a collectible status rifle eventually. If the sales are very small they will probably drop it from production for us non uniformed types.

    MSRP is a little over $5K .

still only a 5.56 , I'd rather spend that much and have a Vickers or MG15 rebuilt professionally.

I wonder if it will be more reliable than the full-auto versions. The 240g was a much-preferred weapon compared to the 249 when I was in the Corps.
Reliable or not, I know I won't be able to afford one.

Well, with a price tag over $5,000, they can save some manufacturing time and money by not building one for me.

Seriously? That's just crazy. I had my hopes up to add another beltfed to join my 1919A4/A6 but IIRC It cost me about $1000 to build my 1919. Price point is ridiculous.
Hopefully the new court cases vs the NFA will bear fruit and we'll be back to $700 full autos. I'll eat the 5K I paid for my AR18 to see full auto what it should cost in a free market..

Actually that doesn't surprise me. Some company back around 2003 to 2005 was making some 240 semi auto's out of parts kits. I think they wanted 8K for one. Considering you could get a full auto transferable Group Industries Uzi for about $6 k then it was and is a ridiculous price.

Amen to that. And constantly opening the top cover to clear out a stuck link or casing.

If I am not mistaken it was ohio ordanace works. I was hoping that if FN does it the price will be cheaper since they make the parts and aren't trying to build off old parts kits that are hard to get especially witha barrel I would imagine. The price of it though was one of the deciding factors on me getting a PKM, the 240 was just too much. A 249 was not an option at the time.
