Just a bit price! Only $3500 for the rifle with no box or accessories!

And is that bolt overstamped to make the serial number match? Sure looks like "0332" overstamped to "0032".

I would submit that you are correct sir!

http://pics.gunbroker.com/GB/4780920...x047640214.jpg Wow! My wife even agrees.
What would that do to the value?

Well to be honest it says it is "all original with numbers matching parts" it does not
say all numbers match. Is it a try at deception I do not know, could it have been a factory
screw up and correction, I do not know.
But if you could prove it was, would that add in value?

While there is a chance someone at the factory did in fact mis-stamp the carrier, in order to prove it I would require a piece of paper that does not exist. Either someone went to great lengths to make it look like a factory overstamp, or it was in fact a factory job as the overstamped zero does seem to match the first zero pretty nicely.

Still, even if the numbers were perfect, without box and accessories I would value it closer to $1200 or so.

Auction is over and I do not know the site well enuff to know if it sold.
But there cannot be to many people willing to spend that kind of money
on a AK. 35 hundred is a wad of walking money.

Looks like a standard auction ending with no sale and no relisting.

I wonder if he sold it in his shop or realized it is way overpriced and we will see it listed again in the near future, only with a different look to try to camouflage his first oops.
