Israeli Police turn-ins for $269. What a bother. I have been wanting a CZ83 but after waiting for about 4 years for them to show up I had basically given up. About 2 weeks ago I bought a Glock and now don't have the money for the CZ83! Well, maybe someone else will be in the market.

If I had the money, Id get this, a makarov, a romanian tokerev, a polish tokerev, a russian nagant, and more cz-82/83 mags.
And a Walther P-38.

I got the P-38 last year, a WWII era pistol. Really like it. I guess I could get the 83 and sell my 82, but I bought the 82 for the historical value. Real value is probably about the same for both, but the 82 was carried by Communist forces when I first joined the Navy.

The Czechs really wanted to be westernized. They were just too scared after the 1968 Russian invasion. Having the CZ-83 in addition to the CZ-82 would be a good artifact to illustrate that point.

Yes that WAS quick. It shows me there is a market out there for used firearms with a history. Unfortunately thanks to the UN's meddling most surplus is being destroyed.
I think the reason why they sold out real quick might have something to do with them maybe not have gotten that many in to begin with.
