    Burgers through Disney

Some of ypu may remember me bitching about loosing my sense of smell and taste back in January, aftef the flue.
Well now its April and I'm on vacation at Disney still with no taste nor smell.
The wife has made reservations at good places but since I can't taste why pay $25. Or more on something that I can't taste?
So I'm easting my way around Disney with just cheap (not really) burgers.
Today at the French resturant I had a burger, this is day 2.

Yuck man. That sucks to lose that. Kind of takes a lot of the fun out of life.

I would seriously think about going to a good/reputable Accupuncture practitioner to see if they can help you out. You'd be surprised what it can fix if you haven't tried it already.

My wife actually started losing her sense of smell last fall. We narrowed it down to a dairy allergy that was causing her nose to swell up inside to the point she couldn't smell a damn thing. I know gluten allergies can also cause it so you may want to try an elimination diet and see if Your smell/taste comes back.
Also, if you know any Doterra oil reps they have one called "Breath" that may help you.

Good luck. I'd be so miserable if I couldn't taste the deliciousness that comes out of my wife's kitchen.

That sucks. There are some really good restaurants at Disney.

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

You should go see a doctor about that.

I have seen my VA Dr. A couple weeks ago.
She perscribed me some Nasonex nasil spray. It has a steroid. But it has failed to do anything in 3 weeks beside give my mouth a constsnt "taste". I am still using it.

I can sometimes smell things but only when they are very strong. I am learning that foods have feelings (besides textures).
Chocolate has a feeling that no other foods do.

    But it still sucks.

Does the same thing happen with spicy foods? Maybe try some Korean, Thai or Indian foods. I've heard of people losing taste for a while and only being able to taste certain things.

That does suck. Hope it comes back, surely it is temporary.

Veterans Administration Doctor ... from what I hear on the news you take your life in your hands to go to these people. You might want to find a good civilian doc to specializes in Nose and Throat issues. Nasoxex, I've used it, didn't do dick for me either.

I'd pay for a specialist and get this shit fixed, bro! Quality of life and all that.

Fuck, we'll take up a fund if need to.
    Returns June 3rd.

I am one of th few that have had very good/normal care from a VA hospital.
One of the things that I thought was that I am all dried out as well as compacted and was hoping that the humidity of this state (Florida) would liquidate the nasal passages. Remember that it just snowed again 2 days ago in Maine in The mountains.

Fuck the va and their "care". As far as I'm concerned their negligence and lack of knowing how to do anything even remotely correct killed my best friend.
"He has the flu, go home and rest" = complete organ failure happening and he was dead 2 days later. Yeah, nice fuckin flu you worthless cocksuckers. Could it have been the 12-14 different drugs you had him on that said things to the effect of "do not combine with drugs a,b,c,d-w? Cause you had him on those too.

    Again, fuck the va.

Bishop I tend to agree with some of the others, just because you have had a good relationship with the VA
does not mean they will know what to do. I read about Nasonex, it is for allergies and to me is like saying take
a aspirin. You really need to see a specialist NOW. You may be dealing with something that can be fixed if caught
in time or become permanent if not addressed in a timely manner.

I know I am just voicing my opinion but since you put this out here for us to read, I tend to think that is what you want.
    Go see a specialist.
While no one ever listens to me,
I am constantly being told to be quiet.
