    6 Other Uses For Windex

I've used it for cutting grease on the stove top, but haven't tried it for the other 5 uses mentioned, yet.

I've been using it for years to kill flies that hang out on windows that are too fast to smash. Works like a charm.

I use the windex with ammonia to hose down my AKs after shooting corrosive ammo at the range, then a full cleaning when i get home.

    Yep.

And if you do get windex, make sure that it has ammonia.

Store brand can be pretty cheap sometimes.

I know a guy with a glass business. The only glass cleaner he will use is a few drops of good liquid dish washing soap with water in a spray bottle. Spray, squeegee, done. I have adopted this method and it works great.

The local jewelry store uses it as a go-to for removing stuck rings from fingers when sizing.
It works very well I'd like to add.

Agreed the guy that tinted the windows on my truck used what you describe.

Window Tinters use a few drops of baby shampoo in a spray bottle. Trick of the trade.
