With much fanfare back in 2013, the gun press breathlessly reported that the "Mall Ninja" AK-12 was supposed to replace ALL front line AK-74 weapons by 2014. Here it is 2015 and I can't find a single news photo or picture of any Russian Troops using or carrying it in an actual military operation (not training or a photo op). Much ado about nothing?
You guys see ANYONE using this rifle anywhere? Every conflict, all I see are well worn AK-74s.
