Nothing changes. I often remember the following riot which occurred over 40 years ago in Herdon VA (near Dullas airport) where I lived like it was yesterday. I lived in a cheap redneck populated apartment at the time and during the riot about 30 people were milling around in the parking lot with guns when I got home from work late at night. I asked a guy what was happening and his response was "the niggers are burning Herndon." I got my .357 Ruger Security Six and joined them. We were all ready to defend our homes from the rioters who were a few blocks away. It could have gotten ugly. The riot ended when about 100 State Troopers showed up the next day armed with pick handles.
Being knowledgeable of the incident described below what follows is a liberal version far different from what I remember. The version I remember is the the cop was attacked after asking a black man to show his drivers license. It was never clear if the black man had walked or driven to the 7-11.
