    CS Lewis' Space Trilogy

I have been meaning to write about this for a while, but have been fairly busy. About a month ago I finished CS Lewis' Space Trilogy. The books in the trilogy are "Out of the Silent Planet", "Perelandra", and "That Hideous Strength". If you are pressed for time I recommend just reading the last one, "That Hideous Strength". The books are early science fiction but are each meant as an analogy for different social/religious topics. "That Hideous Strength" is almost like a prophesy of what we are seeing now with science and politics mixing to make each more powerful. It is a great book that kept my attention very well, I hated putting it down. If you have read any of the "Chronicles of Narnia", which were meant for a younger audience, you will be pleasantly surprised that this series is written for adults. If you are looking for a good book(s), these are pretty good.

They sound like good books to read. Are all 3 a continuous theme, or can they stand alone?

May have to check them out.

Each builds on the previous one, but they can be read separately. If you read all three you should read them in order or they will not make sense. If you are only going to read one, read the last one.

I like the Chronicles of Narnia. I haven't ever read anything else my Lewis. I may have to give these a go next time I make it over to the book store.
