Flowers.....

I noticed something today, out of everything .
The only flowers blooming were on my best friends grave today.



Lots of them growing here and there, daffodils. I thought , stupid flowers...... bloom and die so quick.
I walked up to them and stared for awhile assuming my Kai position .



Thoughts of pride for knowing them, thoughts of loss for losing them. Trying to live an honorable life.





I guess this is what keeps us 'keepin on' if we dare.

Interesting how that works. Can't explain it, but it happens.

I, too, thought daffodils were wimpy-assed flowers, but I noticed something about them last Spring. They bloom earlier than most others and are able to withstand cold temperatures and being snowed on and still keep blooming. That's a lot more than most flowers can do.

I realized that they may look wimpy, but they're pretty tough compared to other flowers.

Looks can be deceiving...
