    GunsNet Status - May 1, 2015

Fucking Time Warner. Excuse my language.

So the new place has never had a Time Warner box on it, so it requires new construction. That new construction can take up to 60 days, but they did say it could be quicker, but they have to say "up to 60 days". I'm kinda bent over because I cant just cancel the contract, then I'd have to pay $800...if it takes longer than 60 days, then I can be let out of the contract. So right now, I have GN running off of a temporary IP. I'm having hit and miss connectivity and I think its because my changes havent propagated thru the network.

Once I find out more from Time Warner, I'll let you guys know. So for now, this site will probably respond slow because the bandwith allocated to me isnt as great as what I had with Time Warner.

its not the way I want it. I'm very disappointed. But the good thing is, its up and should be accessible. I'll keep it running, then when TW does their thing, I'll update to the previous IP and then we should be back to normal.. Now to fix AK-47.net

Sorry for the downtime here and there for the past few hours.. I'm upgrading the backbone on the network and it caused a few hiccups on GN. This is all because of the way I have GN running on ATT. I'm working out the kinks.. looks like its running smooth now.

It does seem a little better than yesterday.

Ever since the site came back up I'm noticing it's running slow as molasses on my pc. Seems to take forever now to load a page?

Alex, the one thing I've noticed is I'm not receiving any email notifications concerning replies.

Ok, good to know why I was having issues. I was starting to wonder if it was crappy laptop.
