Exclamation Functional WWII Flame Thrower 4 Sale

I'm amazed you don't need some kind of ATF paperwork to own one of these rigs but apparently not. Can be had for a mere 29 Grand:

And this is not a genuine WWII flame thrower.
This is a (possibly) demilled tank, with an obviously demilled wand.
They didn't even try to hide the propane tank you have to use to light the thing.
And for $30 K they are smoking something funny...

This guy is jacking up his prices since he had a TV show showing all of the stuff he has.

If you want a flamethrower, here are some more affordable ones.

Yes it is NOT all original, so that alone makes it false advertising. I've shot a similar modified unit at Knob Creek MG shoot for 45 bucks rental fee. It weighs in at 75 lbs. fully loaded with about 5 gallons of diesel fuel. The originals shot jellied gasoline a.k.a. Napalm. I could of shot that but it was $125 to do it that way. The diesel fuel was good enough for me. You get about 30 seconds of stream for 5 gallons of fluid or many 1 to 2 second bursts.

On would I own one ... eh, not in love with the dangers that can happen with the use of one of these. If you spring a leak while shooting you might just go up in a large ball of fire. It was a very interesting experience. You get this rush of raw power from the flaming stream of burning fuel squirting out of the wand. The One I ran also had a propane torch set up as the match for it. The originals had a magnesium match that was similar to a sparkler. They had to light the match then quickly move into range to shoot the stream into a bunker or tunnel. Getting shot usually meant you got incinerated as the tanks getting punctured with the lit sparkler match going, it was going to get hot really quick.

The rental place put me in a silver fire resistant jacket, helmet with Polycarbonate face shield and big silvery fire suit gloves. Then the stood about 10 feet behind me with a fire extinguisher just in case it did suddenly spring a leak and I start to be a flaming torch. I'm happy to have been able to shoot one, but own and operate one on my own, no fucking way.

As for me YES I'd love to have one. Take it out sometimes at parties and the rest of the other times it can just look cool hanging on the wall.

One of these would come in handy for heating up a seized bolt on a rusty vehicle. Screw using a pathetic little blow torch.

I still couldnt imagine being 18-19 years old, in 100* degree humid shitty heat on some sandy island being shot at all day while having one of these strapped to my back.
