I am going to buy this

    http://www.impactguns.com/century-ak...450233256.aspx

Question after I purchase this how long before I need to
    send the ffl paperwork?

I think it is a good buy. Comments.

I don't believe there is a specific deadline however, I would already have my transfer FFL lined up before I placed my order. That way you know they either have his FFL or you have a copy to send them and your FFL knows he'll be getting a firearm from them. IMHO I want my gun headed to me without any unnecessary delay once I've paid for it.

Yeah, that is what I am thinking. I just don't want Impact to drop the sale before I meet
    the ffl.

Have you ever shot an underfolder before? Your mileage may vary, but I thought it sucked when I had my Yugo.

I'm with Charliebravo. Underfolders are 'fun' and 'cool' but the extended stock is uncomfortable to shoot and when folded, it's just a 'spray and pray' weapon. A full stock or good aftermarket telescoping stock really aid in 'aimed rifle fire' IMHO. But that's just my opinion

Order it now and deal with your FFL later if you're worried about the sale ending.

The rifle looks good to go.

My Polish underfolder beats the crap out of the side of my chin. Still a fun set-up, though, and it makes for a very compact firearm.

The two times I have ordered firearms from a remote dealer (both were from J&G), the FFL the firearm was to be shipped to was required as part of the ordering process. It wasn't hard but it was required to even place the order.

Why don't you call them and ask how they prefer you handle it

Yes I have shot an U/F and I do not mind the cheek weld, I use a small handtowel.
I like them most for the compactness.
NAPOTS I should have thought of that but I have been a little distracted
    lately.
Tank_Monkey the are uncomfortable folded, if I were to buy a full stock it would
    be a M70 B1.

If you want a fixed stock, you should get one of these while it is available:

True the under folder isn't as good as the fixed stock, but it sure is cool. I can adapt to the folder, especially with a red dot sight.

I actually prefer the underfolder stocks. I sold off my full stock AK's and only have my polish underfolder and M92 underfolder left. I've never had an issue with them beating up my face or being uncomfortable, and they eat the recoil better than the other stock types.
They also hide in the back corners of my safe really well.

One of these days when I grow up I wish to add a Polish U/F to the mix.

Every AK owner should have an Underfolder at some point ... I've had a few over the years the only one I have left I built on an AMD-65 kit with a Romanian chrome lined 16" barrel that I still shoot. Everytime I take it out I tell myself I'm going to wrap the left rail with para-cord but in the 10 or so years I've yet to do it ... so I guess it's not that big of a deal.

About all your paying for is a milled receiver and decent kit at today's prices ... Not that it matters but I guess my only question would be is it built by Century or are they contracted out? If there is a problem with it, it's an AK, it can be fixed!

I have a poly tech legend underfolder. It was actually my first entry into the ak rifles. I love it, though I don't shoot it that much.
