    Don't try this at home.

    For fucks sake!

So yesterday I went down to our local Ford dealer to buy the wife a car. Well, I did eventually get that done. Decent ride for her, it's a 2013 model Lincoln MKZ with only 24,000 miles on it. Anyway, it took forever and about noon I started feeling bad, pretty rough in an odd way. But whatever I got it taken care of and started home about 3:00 in the afternoon.

Man, on the way to the house I started feeling worse and worse. In fact when I got out of the car I immediately threw up. Then I started sweating profusely and my shoulders ached something fierce.

As you might of guessed, I was having a heart attack. Damn, hit me like a sledge hammer! For awhile there I thought I was done for. But I called 911 and they were their in a blink. They gave me nitro, some kids aspirin and an ivee and here I am still in the hospital.

Weird thing is, they have yet to discern why this happened. My BP is low, I have no blockage, nothing. Hopefully I know something by tomorrow. The heart guy doesn't think this will be ongoing and he didn't see any real damage. Whatever it was didn't stay around long, it could have been an odd clot or whatever.

Anyway, I'm on the mend and thanking God for not taking me just yet.

Nah, I was satisfied with the price and I've got hooch in the cupboard.

No, I don't know yet, from what I've been told it was just an odd deal. I have no history of heart ailments so I really don't know what to think.

Thanks, guys. And yeah, once it dawned on me what the issue had to be it was a bit un-nerving. Never would have thought in a million years I'd be dealing with this.

We should bring back Kad and LAQC. I vented tons of angst on those fools.

Joey would cheer things up too!

Damn. That has to be a shock....to everyone here, too.

Hopefully, they'll figure out what caused it and that it was nothing more than a fluke.

    Hope you get better soon.

    Fellas, again, thanks much.

Cardiologist seems convinced I threw a blood clot, probably from one of my legs. He said its a rare occurance but does happen.

Of course now I need to take a low dose of plavix so it doesn't happen again. Geeze, I would have thought all the hooch I drink would have kept my blood fairly thin. Guess I'll have to try harder!

Damn...I'm late to the party. Really glad to hear you're ok buddy. That is some scary shit. One of my daily pills is an 81mg aspirin for this very reason. I hope you didn't tell the doctor the full truth about your *ahem* vices/habits.

Nah, I'm pretty honest with them. If they ask if I drink I say yes, if they ask how much, I say till I get my fill and that varies. Once they have blood work they know it all anyway.

Glad it wasn't "The Big 1" just yet. I think I'd just take an aspirin tablet each day to thin my blood. All these modern drugs can kill you as fast as the problem they try to cure or prevent.
