    Old interesting cartrige

Not sure what it is, I think by the broad arrow it is likely british. Bullet is paper wrapped. One of the tables at the show today had tubs of odd old ammo. I got this for a dollar. Thought it was interesting enough to pick up.

The triangle thing should be South African. I had a N0. 4 Mk I Savage made Enfield that had that marking on the buttstock. The cartridge looks to have a paper patch on it.

Tomorrow i will borrow my fathers micrometer and see what it measures. The bullet is paper patched. There were others that had really thin case walls and looked crumpled. They were in the same bucket and looked to be similar calibre. I should have grabbed one of those as well i think now.
