Thumbs up Chiappa 9x19 M1 Carbine

I'm hearing these are showing up in stores in the $450-$550 price range. Supposed to use Beretta 92 mags. I'd like to check one out in person before I'd buy one but it looks interesting and I already have the mags since I have a 92FS.

I'm surprised you don't want it in 10 mm. That said I'm scratching my head on what it brings to the party ... so to speak.

blowback too so you dont have to deal with the stupid Tappet system.

IMHO Marlin needs to start pumping out Camp Carbines again.

Interesting how the Beretta magazine is positioned perfectly vertical like M1 Carbine mags. I would like to get a look at the feed ramp.

Make that in 40cal & glock mag and I'd be interested.

seen them here. Held one in my hands. I chose the new M1 Carbine from Auto ordnance instead. Could be good but 9mm isn't potent enough for my liking. The 30 carb barely does it.

got to see each model of this today.

feels like a M1 but just a tad heavier since they added equal length "arms" on each side of the bolt to balance out the blowback effect . Gun is pure blowback, another reason for the dual arms. Synthetic model was $469, wooden one was right around $500. Really felt more like a ruger PC-9 .
