21st anniversary spent at the ER

Been working my ass off lately. Scheduled 60 hours for the past three months. I was walking out of work and get a text from the wife. "No worries, we are at the ER, Son broke his wrist."

Sure enough. Broken wrist and it was dislocated. He did really well. Wasn't in pain, until that is when they doped him up and set it. That was painful for me to see. Well, 21 years of till death do us part. He was really sorry that this happened today. Not like we had any other plans for the day.

Congratulations on your anniversary. Hope Stan makes full and rapid recovery. It's gonna suck starting off his summer in a cast.

Glad he is ok. Broken bones suck. Congrats on 21 years. Hopefully the broken wrist isn't his shooting hand.

Happy anniversary! Sorry for the location you celebrated it but glad that everyone will be alright.

Congrats on your 21st and that puts a new twist on the saying "break a leg".

Congratulations to you and the better half.

Condolences to your boy. Sounds like he jacked it up pretty good.

Just to echo everyone else - Congratulations on 21 years of marriage and I hope Stan heals up quickly. Glad his injury wasn't worse than it was.

He was riding his bike when it happened. Thankfully he was wearing a helmet. It could have been LOTS worse. I was up with him for a bit last night. Got up at 4 this morning to get ready for work, and he was in pain. So Mom took him back to the ER and they adjusted his meds. So, he is lots better. Sucks though. I have been scheduled 60 hours a week for the past (going on) three months. Work has been a bear for sure.

Next week no change, then we host the pga, then after that New Orleans Saints for three weeks. No rest for the wicked. Thanks for the well wishes. After they set the wrist and his meds were wearing off, he felt terrible for "ruining" our anniversary. We had no other plans to be truthful. Thanks again, he is a real trooper.

    Grats on the anni!

I shoved my bed against the wall and learned to sleep on my side with the wrists (broke both) up higher than my heart.

They don't pain and throb as badly that way!
