    Well it has happened!

I just filled out the paperwork an hour ago and the much coveted AK63D is home.
It has been well worth the wait and to coin a phrase it is Beautiful.
The fit is great, the furniture is a bright blonde, no canted sights and the finish is nice and
smooth. It came with the oil bottles, cleaning kit, cleaning rod, sling, a Magpul and Tapco mag.
It was packaged really well in egg crate foam and double boxed. It does not seem to weight
as much as my M70AB2 even though it has a milled receiver. I have not broke it down yet as
I am posting this and I know you want pics. I will try once again to give you some. I may
have to use the gallery but I will try. Yeah that is what I thought, exceeds quota.

I posted a pic in the gallery.

Sounds nice. Can you not use a hosting site like Photobucket for the photos?

I can only use the gallery, when I try to put a pick in the post it is always too big. IDK.
Sorry Richard I misread your post, I have a hosting site but still can't figure it out, call me dumb.
I use Imgur and Photobucket, I will try again later but even with a hosting I always seem
to run into the size issue.

I always liked the Hungarian dog bone type grip and the blonde wood.

On exceeds quota, that probably means your image is too big to upload. The image should be kept to 1000 pixels max dimension in any direction. If all you have is Microsoft Paint you can use it to change the image, shrink it to make it smaller.

Yeah the cost has changed since I ordered it but I paid 660 + 10 for shipping.
The ffl I just met did the transfer for free, so 670 and no charge for using my c card.
I bought the rifle from Impact Guns.

Thanks guys, but I have found a small problem I have to ask advice about.
It seems the locking pin for the gas tube on the rear sight block is not
flared enough allowing the pin to slide back and forth in the shaft.
    If that makes sense.

    I did it?

I don't think you could have done that.

Does it sit securely and hold the tube firmly in place when you have it the down position? Or does it wiggle no matter what position its in?

Naw Funky I was talking about taking a pic and posting it in a thread, I did it?
It will wiggle free after some movement, if your were to shoot it, it would loosen up.

It's loose enuff that it is really not locked, could you use a ball bearing?
Put the lock side pin against a back plate, hold it down and tap a ball bearing against the flared
    side of the pin?

I can't seem to find the correct name would it be the gas tube locking bar?
