    Horse Racing

A strange thing happened tonight. I went to the race track with some friends. On the way I stopped at a 7-11 and bought a racing program. After explaining my scientific approach to handicapping, I studied the program and picked a horse I liked in the 4th race. The tote board showed the horse at 60-1 odds. No way is this a 60-1 horse I thought and put my bet down. The horse won. I am one smart MoFo I thought and collected my winnings. I then looked at the program for the next race and realized the program I purchased was for the following night. I couldn't tell my wife. She now thinks I am a genius for picking a 60 to 1 winner.

I hope ya bet at least 10 on the horse. Good call.
While no one ever listens to me,
I am constantly being told to be quiet.

My wife and i used to go to Turf Paradise a lot about 30 years ago. Me cause i like to watch horses run, her cause she's a gambler. Her method of picking horses was based on emotional decisions; color of the horse, jocky's colors, horses name, etc. She usually won enough to cover our losses.

    Used to go occasionally.

$100.00 was a $10.00 bet on each of 9 races, and a beer and a hot dog.

Why is it that ball parks and race tracks have the best hot dogs?
