on shipping wooden stocks into Canada?

I don't believe so. Canada DOES restrict certain gun parts from import, like short barrels and stuff, but I have never seen ANYTHING related to plain old wooden stocks. The Wooden stock is just furniture and doesn't affect the action or length of the weapon and it certainly doesn't convert it into a 'prohibited weapons status' (per Canadian law). Check for yourself on Canada's gov website, but I haven't been able to find anything that would prohibit stocks. Now if it were a stock that converted a pistol into a short barreled Carbine (like the stocks for the P08 Artillery Luger, etc.) - THAT might be considered prohibited by Canada's draconian gun laws.
Great I didn't think so either.

Well ebay has a different opinion, they will not let me sell the stock into Canada. I guess I could just pull the
offering off ebay but then I am dealing with a totally unknown person in another country. Guess I will just let it
ride on ebay because I am not wired to take such chances.

for stocks long as the value is $100 or less you're fine.

I think Canada told EBAY "No Weapons Parts" Did you know that those little crossbow pistols you can get at Walmart here in the States is totally ILLEGAL in Canada? I had a medieval reenactor (who also did jousts at "the Medievel Times" theme restaurant) who got arrested for driving into Canada with a little Crossbow PIstol (a MIDDLE AGES one, not a modern one). Fucking Canadian gun laws
