Interesting, but I don't think one bad ruling that could lead to a good ruling is worth it.
"Nothing ever gets so bad that government "help" can't make it worse." Pat Garrett, March 22, 2014

"HATE IS GOOD, WHEN ITS DIRECTED AT EVIL." PROBASCO, April 20, 2012

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

Have you heard about the new corduroy pillows? They're making head lines!

The problem with this argument is that the court's decisions are based on political goals. They have no duty to not be hypocritical.

That being said there is no way in hell it will ever be legal for us peons to carry in NJ or NYC, no matter what scrotus rules

I understand that a drivers license is a tax for our using the roads, and that all states recognize the licenses as given out by all other states, but the second amendment is supposedly part of the supreme law of the land, and it does not require a license. Unfortunately many states require a license or permit for firearm carry or worse, ownership. Using that scenario it should be recognized like the drivers license in all states. If you are stopped by a uniformed civilian and don't have the required papers, you can and likely be arrested. You instantly lose all rights guaranteed by the constitution. You can't argue with a uniformed civilian about constitutional rights.

But then again, ever since 1934 when it was ruled that it was ok to tax our second amendment rights, upheld very recently by Chief Justice Roberts in verifying that a tax of freedom is legal (obama/scotus-care) paying a tax for the license/permit should make it legal in all 50 states, plus the 7 King Barack worships.
