Students sign petition to remove 'racist' George Washington Statue amongst others.....

Oh wait, this is in TEXAS! My bad....

    http://www.dcclothesline.com/2015/06...ington-statue/

“It’s so bad it’s like as if you’re having a statue of maybe Hitler or someone like that,” said one trendy as he signed the petition.

Others were convinced to sign after being told that eradicating the statues was part of shifting the country towards socialism.

Another student agreed to sign the petition immediately after hearing the words “racist statues,” while another man said the statues represented “treason”.
Academia is thoroughly controlled by communists all over the country. I routinely see stuff like this NOT happening in California, but in southern or midwestern states. You need to watch for socialist traitor academia in your own back yards.

I'm surprised there isn't a backlash against Martin Luther King Jr. because he espoused peaceful protest as opposed to rioting. And if I am not mistaken, he was a republican.

Like usual you miss the point. I'm not hurt because they're NOT in California. I'm disturbed that I'm seeing these kinds of people in a place like Texas, a place where I assumed would be a refuge for freedom if the rest of the country goes to hell in a handbasket.

I can always count on you to reply with a head scratching non sequitur that skews off in a wild and unpredictable direction

I hear Austin is almost as bad as San Francisco.
When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail." ----- Jack Burton 1986

Damn. Colleges have gone to hell since I graduated.

ISIS needs to practice their lopping skills on these libturds.

Not only will we see the removal or re-naming of the Jeff Davis memorial in Fairview Ky. (It is quite a sight), we will see the same for the Wahington Monument, the Jefferson Memorial, etc...The American flag will also be removed and changed within ten years.

These kids can tell you the name of their favorite rap artist but do not even know who George Washington is. These are the types that inadvertently contribute to the socialization of the United States.
