    Cool Swiss 1889 Rifles

    http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.as...689&name=Swiss Model 1889 7.5x53.5 (GP90 Black Powder)Rifle

True collectibles these are. Just never chamber and shoot modern GP-11 Swiss rifle ammo in one. The lugs are at the rear of the bolt group and very small. Blackpowder only on these.

i know due to liability aim wont say it but, most of the 1889 rifles were updated to fire smokeless BUT i havent found a way to tell.

one other factoid. it's one of the very few rifles with 3 groove rifling.
