Way back before the "internet" when people were on local dial-up "bulletin boards" I did the same thing (asked for name suggestions for a pet online).
The two names I got for female cats (which we used) were "Donna" and "Penny".

A rescued barn cat that probably wound'nt have made it. 12 yrs old, lives in the garage and her name is Penny AKA Penneroo.

We had a helluva trip...but thankfully made it home safe and sound. We both agreed on Ziva. She is smart, strong willed, stubborn, and cute (think NCIS) ;D
