Not sure how this is going to go. I have no idea the legalities of a private business refusing to do business with a group of people who have a tendency to go jihad in random places at different times.

The only thing that might save them from legal problems is found in these paragraphs in the article:

"He instituted the rule in July after the shooting in Chattanooga, Tenn., in which a young Muslim-American man shot four Marines and a Navy sailor.

"I believe the decision to enact that ban is in the interest of public safety,..."

Since he didn't say he was doing it to discriminate against anyone, but was doing it, "in the interest of public safety," he might be able to fight it, since a gun dealer doesn't have to sell to anyone they feel will use the gun they're buying in a criminal manner, even if they are cleared by NICS.

I hope he wins whatever legal problems he might encounter.
