In Halifax (I live just outside of the city) French has been surpassed by Arabic as the spoken language. There was a study by one of the local papers not too long ago on this. This is a scary thing.
Here in Canada our election is coming up in a couple months and the two leftist parties are both campaigning to flood in hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees. So I can expect to have thousands more around me.
