    Question Remington Model M600 Question

Ran across an ad for a Remington Model M600, in .308, with an 18.5 ",with a ventilated ribbed barrel, walnut stock, and 4x scope. It's in excellent condition. The guy is asking $550. I'm going over to look at it Saturday.

    It looks something like this:

Is $550 a reasonable price for this rifle?

I've always had a thing for ventilated ribbed barrels and the ammo is reasonably priced.

    Thanks for any input.

That is a reasonable price for a Remington bolt action made in the days when Remingtons were among the best. The 600 was only in production for a few years as Remington seemed to want to constantly change what were already very good rifles.

Depending on the scope on the rifle, could be a great buy!

Whoa dude that is a sweet looking rifle. I just love steel and wood, good luck with it.

I also say that should be a good price.

That is a nice-looking rifle. I've never seen one of these before.
