Actually these are each 1 of 100 of 1 of a kind. These are a Buck Model 110 with oak scales and brass frame and a Model 119 with brass frame. They are each one of a hundred of an exclusive run using 5160 high carbon \ tool steel. Buck has pretty much used stainless steel for it's blades be it 440c, 425M, 420HC, S30v, etc.
A year or two back we had club knife made using D2 steel. Besides this latest offering I believe that is the only other, non-stainless offering Buck has made and I know for a fact, it's the first time the 110 and 119 have been made in 5160. I need to add that Buck does use 5160 in several of their fixed blade models but this is the first time that I know of with the 110 and 119.
This is also my first 119 with brass. It weighs about 50% more than a standard 119 and the extra weight feels good in the hand. Here's a few pics of these two new one of a kinds. The 119 is #006 & the 110 is #012.
