    Well i had my surgery

on Aug 3 and the final check up on Nov. 3. The doc says I am good to go,
now I need to find something to do(job) to keep me from going crazy.
Being able to be at home all the time is not all it is said to be, there is house
work and yard work and if you are caught up............
So I am going to try to find me a job offering 15 or so hrs. a week so I can
go fuck off somewhere other than home. I can read, write and understand
English, I can do math and assorted other things. So lets have a go and see
what happens. Like I mentioned I am going bat shit crazy stuck at home.
While no one ever listens to me,
I am constantly being told to be quiet.

Hobbies....hobbies. You need lots of hobbies.... The pay sucks, but they can be fun....

You ain't kidding about being stuck at home. I tell people that when you retire, et ceteta,...when you have nothing to do, you have NOTHING to do.
This is my 7th week after hernia surgery, and my old boss called me to help work adding a room on a shop building. Like you, maybe 20 hrs or so a week, but it makes all the difference.

Good luck in finding a part time job to get you back in the game.

I think I'd go find a job at a gun shop if I was retired.

Also, my college offers free classes for people over a certain age. You probably qualify for something like that in your area.

I have plenty for you to do around here.
Say, I can't remember why you needed surgery.

Glad the surgery is over and you went through it well.

I my business we don't do short hours per week, but lots of OT for a short time. Many of the "retirees" just work one or two projects a year and stay home the rest of the time. In my case, instead of spending months doing the plan, estimate and schedule for the job, I would just come in during execution to do night shift updating one the schedule. Work two to six weeks of heavy OT and go home for a couple months.
We found out what "dealing" with progressive lefties is all about. Our side gives up something, they give up nothing and the progressives come back in a month or a year and want us to give up more... rinse and repeat...

Glad everything went well for you. How about you get a lathe and start making silencers? Or, grab a color pallet and paint the house in new colors.

Good luck with the job search, I understand this President is second to none in getting new part time jobs created from existing full time ones!

Get well fast, glad that you were given good news from the Dr.
