Thumbs up Republican debate on Fox Business Channel

Watching it since 9:15, got into it a tad late. This is so far the best one of the 3 by far. So far the 3 panelists are asking real questions instead of trying to rip the candidates a new one.

IMHO Paul came across very well in this debate. Rubio apparently has some $2500 per child tax credit plan that apparently is some EITC like welfare and Paul questioned how Rubio could call himself a conservative by proposing this, plus plus his plans for large increases in military spending. I thought Paul really did a good job of hurting Rubio in this debate. Paul seems like the most knowledgable candidate about monetary policy.

The bottom line for me is that I believe Trump is the only candidate who is serious about stopping illegal immigration.

Bush just comes across as unqualified. After this debate he should drop out. The donor class has wasted a lot of money on him.

I also think Bush should get out. DVR'd it as I had to get to sleep by 10:30. I'll review the rest of it tonight.

Cruz made a good point about why the media has been so silent on the alien invasion. He wondered if the press would be so silent if most of the illegals coming in were journalists, lawyers, and businessmen, going after their jobs at a much lower pay rate than they were earning...

He doubted they would be so quiet about that. As long as their jobs were still safe, they weren't going to bring media attention to it.

    Touche.

If nothing else, these candidates are exposing the CMSM for what it is...biased, leftist, propaganda machines following the Dimocrat game plan.

Agreed, it was nice to see what they believe in.
    My 2cent review:
Kasich - Guy is just not like-able enough to get it done, he came off a bit socialist when talking about the bank issues.
Bush - needs to get off stage. He gives the vibe that he really wont or cant change anything.
Carson - My personal pick. Someone that understands that a percentage is an equal distribution of responsibility for everyone gets my vote. He projects the right leadership attitude. Though his experience is lacking as a politician, that is really a positive to me.
Trump - Bold enough to get the job done, though I worry about the long term consequences of his leadership (values).
Rubio - R. Paul was correct, you cant hand out welfare and be conservative. Other than that issue, I agree that a strong military is a requirement for a strong economy in the modern world.
    R. Paul - In a perfect world we would be able to isolate ourselves from the worlds stupidity (ie Islam) but we cant realistically do that. His logic is good on other issues.
Fiorina - A little repetitive but spot on with most issues, I hope she ends up as a Carson or Trump running mate.

Where is Cruz on that list?
We found out what "dealing" with progressive lefties is all about. Our side gives up something, they give up nothing and the progressives come back in a month or a year and want us to give up more... rinse and repeat...

lol, I tried editing the list right after posting to include Cruz but anyway...

Cruz - I agree with his views, not sure he can win but hopefully he ends up at least with a VP role.

I trust Carson to do what he says he will once in office. I trust Trump to be the exact opposite of what he says, but if he gets elected I think he will be held to what he said. The rest are either open borders libertarians or nasocons; rinos. Cruz lauded Mandela at his death as a freedom fioghter when mandela was a convicted terrorist, also Cruz wife is ex gold sachs and freaking cfr. Come on, you don't get any higher in the nwo than cfr and gold sachs, well, other than satan.

It seemed to me that Kasich thought he was participating in the Democrat's debate.

Kasich came off as a complete fool last night. His attack on Trump was a failed, last ditch effort to try and make some points....it failed miserably. He failed miserably. He had no chance of winning when he entered and he has less of a chance now.

I totally agree with you on Kasich. IMHO he is pathetic. In reality, everyone should drop out other than Trump, Carson. Rubio, and Cruz. Last night Paul's comments should have knocked out Rubio, but as most of us surmise the Republican party is not conservative regardless of what the liberals claim.

Are you guys familiar with Frank Luntz, he runs focus groups that react and rate what politicians are saying during debates. Last debate he made mention of the highest rated reaction in a positive "I like it" way. This moment belonged to Ted Cruz. This time Luntz's system recorded the biggest Negative rating for what a politician was saying ever. Broke new ground in people thinking that the person speaking sucked. You know who got this record setting negative rating? John Kasich is the winner of suck. Everybody in his focus group said that Kasich needed to go, get out of the race. These were squishy New England moderates from Vermont and they came to hate him for his antics last night.

I like Carson because of his intelligence and being able to work out a problem. I like a lot of what he says. I worry about our Second Amendment Rights around citified people. He has made utterances in the past about restrictions on certain types of guns in the bigger cities. I hear he has changed his mind about that, but not sure of position now.
Pretty sure he's never hunted or shot targets in his life.

Trump, because of his immigration stance, but like the other guy last night said, there's no way he's gonna deport 11 million people. Not gonna happen, ever. Again, worried about his citified Second Amendment position. He is a dyed-in-wool-NYC boy, after all. Another non-hunter, non-target shooter type. Spends his time in NYC condo and Maro Lago, with all the Palm Beach retard Liberals.

Cruz. A Constitutionalist and a real Conservative if there ever was one. Our Second Amendment Rights are safe with him. I really like this guy, but not sure of his entire platform. Too bad he doesn't stand a chance.
